About
The aim of our research is to study on the prediction, treatment and prognosis of metabolic diseases. With the support of data of UK Biobank, we can predict metabolic diseases and their complications before occurrence, target treatment after occurrence, and accurately evaluate the prognosis and treatment effect of diseases. In the case of diabetes in metabolic diseases, When the blood glucose of diabetic patients is higher than the normal value for a long time, their heart, blood vessels and other body tissues will be chronically injured. And the vascular complications of diabetes will cause subtle changes in retinal fundus vascular morphology. By calculating biomarkers to capture changes in vascular morphology, the abnormal state of patients can be detected in advance to achieve early detection and prevention of diseases. Through big data, screen out the direct differences between diabetes and non-diabetes patients,integrate the differences of patients with different prognosis, find treatment targets, and then improve the prognosis of diabetes patients.1 Publication
