Archives are packages of files containing information related to participants which has not been incorporated into the core repository in the form of separate Data Fields. In additional to phenotypic information these packages may contain documentation, program code and sundry associated resources.
Most datasets contain the results returned to UK Biobank by researchers upon their completion of their projects (known as Applications). These results are made available to subsequent researchers who may wish to verify their analyses and conclusions or use them as a starting-point for their own work. For such archives, the ID of the Application which created them will be displayed and (if they contain individual level data) a Bridging file will be supplied.
The ukblink utility is required to download Archive datasets.
