Notes
This location information is based on the address where the participant lived at the time of their assessment.
The location co-ordinates use the Ordnance Survey (OSGB) reference. This North co-ordinate needs to be used in conjunction with the East co-ordinate in Field 22686.
This field supersedes Field 20034. The data has been updated to use more accurate geocoding data where available, based on the full address instead of the postcode alone.
These grid co-ordinates (to a 100m accuracy) will only be released following special approval. If access is approved, researchers will be required to hold these data-fields separately from their main project (a new set of encoded ids will be supplied) while they derive their required measures, which will then be made available to their main project only after these fields have been deleted.
For most purposes, grid co-ordinates rounded to a 1km accuracy will provide sufficient information on location of residence at assessment. These rounded values are found in Field 22688 and Field 22689.
