Notes
This location information is based on the address where the participant lived at the time of their assessment.
The location co-ordinates use the Ordnance Survey (OSGB) reference. This East co-ordinate needs to be used in conjunction with the North co-ordinate in Field 22689.
This field supersedes Field 20074. The data has been updated to use more accurate geocoding data where available, based on the full address instead of the postcode alone. The data has also been corrected to use truncation (rounding down) instead of rounding, to derive the 1km resolution data.
These grid co-ordinates (to a 1km accuracy) will only be released following special approval.
For most purposes, these grid co-ordinates rounded to a 1km accuracy will provide sufficient information on location of residence at assessment. If a higher level of granularity is required, values are also available at a 100m resolution, which can be found in Field 22686 and Field 22687.
