About
This project endeavors to uncover the multifaceted determinants of diseases ranging from Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) like heart disease to infectious ones such as COVID-19 and AIDS. By understanding genetics, lifestyle, environment, and clinical factors, and their interplay, the research strives to unlock the complexity behind disease onset and progression. Amidst global challenges presented by both NCDs and infectious diseases, the findings can bolster targeted prevention and drug development. By using extensive UK Biobank datasets and state-of-the-art computational tools, we hope to pave the way for precision medicine that meets the diverse challenges of today's health landscape.
