Participants who accepted an invitation to the coronavirus infection study provided a blood sample using a Thriva coronavirus (COVID-19) antibody test kit. Blood samples were returned to a Thriva laboratory where they were analysed for N antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 using the Roche Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2. The results were returned to UK Biobank.
