Notes

A Drug Era is defined as a span of time when the Person is assumed to be exposed to a particular active ingredient. A Drug Era is not the same as a Drug Exposure. Drug Eras are detailed in the omop_drug_era table.

Due to some data quality issues identified by research groups who have been using the returned OMOP derivation dataset, the record-level tables are now restricted. Please see Field 20142 for more information.

#	Column	Type	Notes
1	drug_concept_id	integer	A foreign key that refers to a Standard Concept identifier in the Standardized Vocabularies for the Ingredient Concept.
2	drug_era_end_date	date	The end date for the drug era constructed from the individual instance of drug exposures. It is the end date of the final continuously recorded instance of utilization of a drug.
3	drug_era_id	integer	A unique identifier for each Drug Era.
4	drug_era_start_date	date	The start date for the Drug Era constructed from the individual instances of Drug Exposures. It is the start date of the very first chronologically recorded instance of conutilization of a Drug.
5	drug_exposure_count	integer	The number of individual Drug Exposure occurrences used to construct the Drug Era.
6	eid	integer	A foreign key identifier to the Person who is subjected to the Drug during the Drug Era.
7	gap_days	integer	The number of days that are not covered by DRUG_EXPOSURE records that were used to make up the era record.
